For Exterior Walls with the Look of Masonry - The AW-500 series wall panel provides a flush profile using a bold Azteco® embossing with no striations on the exterior side. It is available in widths of 42" and 36" standard maxim length at 48´. The tongue-and-groove joint configuration is the same as the AW-200 and AW-300 series panels. The use of the hidden fastener allows the exterior metal wall to simulate the smooth continuous look of masonry stucco making the project more appealing to architects and end users.

Storage

All exterior pre-painted surfaces of Metecno-Aluma Shield panels are covered with a protective film of polyethylene. This film should not be exposed for extended periods of direct sunlight, as this could render the subsequent removal of this film more difficult. Moisture between panels will cause oxidation of the painted surface to occur. Inspect the bundles for moisture. If a panel bundle contains moisture, it must be broken open to allow the panels to dry. Restack and cover the panels in a manner to allow free air circulation. Always secure (tie down) restacked panels to prevent unforeseen wind damage.
