300 Series

The 300 Series is the non-ribbed version of MeTecno USA´s 200 Series. Featuring a relatively smooth exterior profile, the 300 has only slight grooved striations to enhance the strength of the panel. The 300´s panel joint profile allows for concealed    fasteners resulting in one continuous look which adds to overall design flexibility. The 300´s flush profile with light vertical shadowlines make it ideal for use as an exterior wall on commercial and industrial buildings, as well as for interior or exterior wall and ceiling applications in certain cold storage facilities.

Monolithic construction combined with the nature and shape of the profile generate a load span capability which greatly exceeds that of traditional built-up systems

20-year DURANAR coating is standard offering resistance to ultraviolet radiation and chemical degradation

Factory caulked side joints are available as an option to eliminate field caulking (not available in cold storage applications)

Pre-painted panels arrive on job site complete and ready for installation, thus reducing erection time and improving ease of installation

Composite panels provide an added advantage with the ability to be installed in practically all weather conditions preventing costly delays

Warranties

Limited Warranty - All building panels furnished by Metecno USA-ASI Division shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of shipment. The terms and conditions of any Metecno USA-ASI Division warranty shall be in accordance with those stated on the full written warranty.

Coil Coatings Warranty - PPG DURANAR® - This agreement applies to any purchase from PPG by the Customer, or for it by a PPG approved coil coater (the"Coater"), of a Duranar® coil coating listed below (the "Product") which the Customer applies, or has applied for it by the Coater, to the exterior of a metal substrate listed for the Product which is used for an interior wall or ceiling or exterior architectural roofing or sidewall building product (the "Metal Substrate").

Coil Coatings Warranty - PPG DURAFIN® - This agreement applies to any purchase from PPG by the Customer, or for it by a PPG approved coil coater (the"Coater"), of a Durafin 2000® coil coating listed below (the "Product") which the Customer applies, or has applied for it by the Coater, to a properly cleaned, chemically treated and primed metal substrate which is used for an interior wall or ceiling or exterior architectural sidewall (panel inclined not more than twenty (20) degrees from vertical) building product (the "Metal Substrate").

Storage

All exterior pre-painted surfaces of Metecno USA-ASI Division panels are covered with a protective film of polyethylene. This film should not be exposed for extended periods of direct sunlight, as this could render the subsequent removal of this film more difficult. Moisture between panels will cause oxidation of the painted surface to occur. Inspect the bundles for moisture. If a panel bundle contains moisture, it must be broken open to allow the panels to dry. Restack and cover the panels in a manner to allow free air circulation. Always secure (tie down) restacked panels to prevent unforeseen wind damage.

Codes & Compliances

Dade County Approval: AW Series wall panels have been approved for use in High Velocity Hurricane Zones by the Miami-Dade Product Control Division. N.O.A. 03-0429.01

Fire Performance: Metecno USA-ASI Division polyiso core panels have passed the FM Approvals Full scale corner test, FM 4880, along with ASTM E84 and D1929 to qualify for Class 1 Rating with no height restriction. These results indicate that buildings utilizing Metecno USA-ASI Division polyiso panels on walls and/or ceilings do not require a sprinkler system of themselves, qualifying the building for reduced insurance premiums.

Thermal Transmission: Metecno USA-ASI Division panels have been tested for insulating values in accordance with ASTM C518, ASTM C236 and ASTM C1316 test methods. Results from individual panel types are available.

Air Infiltration: Panel joints have been tested for air infiltration in accordance with ASTM E283. Results for individual panel types are available.

Water Penetration: Panel joints have been tested for water penetration in accordance with ASTM E331. Results for individual panel types are Available.

Structural: Metecno USA-ASI Division roof panel products are classified by Factory Mutual as to FM1-90 wind uplift. Wall panels have been tested as to wind pressure resistance according to spans. Results for individual panel types are available.

Colors and Finishes

In partnership with Valspar, all of MeTecno USA´s Standard SOLID, Premium MICA and METALLIC Fluropon® PVDF colors are Energy Star® compliant. 

Because web displayed colors may not realistically translate the hue, gloss and contrast of today´s more sophisticated colors including "flons", micas and metallics, we invite you to request the MeTecno USA color chart.
