Metecno-Aluma Shield Max-R™ insulated sectional
door panels offer a number of unique features. These features enhance
performance through stable R-values, superior corrosion resistance, structural
integrity and excellent finish.
Steel Skins:
High quality galvanized steel offers unsurpassed corrosion
resistance and excellent panel detail.
Paint Finish: PPG Siliconized Polyester paint, a full 1-mil. thick resists
fading, chalking and blistering.
Insulation:
Polyiso foam insulation with an outstanding 95% closed
cell structure. With this foam structure, the door panels will not lose
any appreciable amount of R-value because the foam will not decompose
with time. Closed cells are sealed from air, moisture and light. The door
will not absorb moisture.
Hardware Attachment:
22-gauge, 3-3/4" hinge backing plates for secure
attachment of full size hinges. These plates also provide multiple attachment
points for secure attachment of reinforcing struts. This is especially
important in heavy wind areas.
Section Joints:
Section joints offer superior tongue-in-groove arrangements
to seal out wind, moisture and extreme temperatures. Full thermal break
inhibits thermal transmission across the panel.
